Retrofitmach environmental test chambers provide extensive temperature testing capabilities for evaluating material properties under non-ambient testing conditions. A full range of complementary grips, pullrods and extensometers are available for using inside of the environmental test cabinets.

Retrofitmach makes high or low temperature testing, that is made possible by integration of an environmental chamber to a universal testing machine. Retrofitmach also supplies climalitical test chamber repair, integration and manufacturing.
Environmental chambers for UTM delivers their own PID temperature controller and the temperature settings and recordings may be controlled with the chamber's controller and the Doli Test & Motion software.

PRINCIPLE OF OPERATION

Cooling requires liquid nitrogen, CO2 gas or relevant gases which are controlled by a magnet valve on back side of chamber.

The climalitical test chambers use forced convection for optimum temperature distribution and a sophisticated digital controller ensures minimum overshoot and excellent set-point stability. Rapid heat-up and recovery times lower cost per test by improving throughput. Air-cooled skin reduces external temperature and interlocks cut the heating/cooling and fan when the door is opened minimizing non-ambient air reaching the operator. Dual window heaters ensure optimum clarity at low temperatures giving more useful test time when using non-contacting extensometers or other optical devices.

Environmental chambers for test machine's temperature range is -150°C to +350 °C.

Cooling is provided by liquid nitrogen or relavent gases according to required test temperatures of elevated temperature tests.
